ANNOUNCEMENT OF ADMISSION
FOR FOUR YEARS UNDER GRADUATE PROGRAMME, BATCH 2024-28
The college is admitting students in the First Year (two semesters) of its Four Year Under Graduate Programme (FYUGP) under the recently implemented New Education Policy for the academic session 2024-25. Admission in B.A, B.Sc., B.Com. Major (Honours with Research) Programme is open from 3rd May 2024. Student should contact the Admission Help Desk during office hours.
Steps for Admission
- Collect the admission form from the Admission Help Desk.
- See the Subject and Combination details below before filling the admission form.
- The completely filled in form along with the photocopy of all required documents has to be submitted in the office within two days after the issue of form.
- Pay the requisite fee. You can contact the Admission Help Desk to know the fee details.
- Do not forget to receive the fee payment receipt.
- College ID card and prospectus will be given to the students after some days of the completion of the first part of admission process.
- The first part of the whole admission process has to be done in the college.
- Candidates applying through CUET and/or Chancellor’s Portal will also be accommodated.
- Every admission is provisional and the college holds the right to cancel the admission of a student in case of nonfulfillment of any admission related requirement like non submission of documents, forgery of any document or information or even indiscipline on part of the student.
- The second round of the admission will begin with the uploading of data in the Chancellor’s Portal. For this the student is required to contact the Admission Help Desk.
- After the upload of data on Chancellor’s Portal a Selection List will be published. After the publication of Selection List, the candidates have to pay the Registration fee of Kolhan University through the Chancellor’s Portal.
- After completion of the above process the candidates have to contact the college office in person to receive the college prospectus and their Identity Cards.
- They are also required to submit self-attested copies of mark sheets of the qualifying exam and other testimonials to the college.
- The college reserves every right to cancel the admission in case of any misappropriation or misconduct on part of the selected candidate.
- Candidates have to collect their College Roll Numbers.
- Selected candidates are required to complete the Registration process of Kolhan University as and when directed by the university.
- The following documents will be required for submission for the completion of the whole admission process. In case of non-submission of any of these documents their admission will be cancelled.
- Originals School/College Leaving Certificate with a photocopy of the same.
- Photocopies of Mark sheets (Matric & Intermediate) & Admit Card.
- Original Migration Certificate.
- Selected candidates, belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Backward Classes, are required to submit the photocopy of their caste certificate along with original income certificate. In case of non-availability of any of the said certificates, their application for scholarship will not be forwarded to the welfare Dept. for grant of financial help from the Govt. and he/she will have to pay the tuition fee. No such certificates will be accepted after the admission.

Admission Pattern
At the UG level the College imparts teaching in Humanities, Social Science, Commerce and Science faculties with recognition from Kolhan University, Chaibasa.
- Students passing their +2/Intermediate or equivalent examination are eligible to take admission in Four Year Under Graduate B.A./B.SC./B.COM. Semester-I Major.
- Fee charged at the time of admission in Semester-I will be inclusive of the charges of Semester-II.
- Students have to take fresh admission in the third, fifth and seventh semesters.
- Fee charged at the time of admission in Semester III, V & VII will be inclusive of the fee of Semester IV, VI & VIII respectively.
- There shall be University Examination at the end of each semester. There shall be Continuous Internal Assessment (CIA) or Practical Examination (whichever is applicable) and marks scored in the CIA/Practical will be added in the final score. 75 percent attendance in the classes is compulsory.
- Selection in Major Course is made purely on the basic of merit with minimum 40% marks in the subject concerned.
