करीम सिटी कॉलेज, साकची, जमशेदपुर की साहित्यिक तथा सांस्कृतिक संस्था ‘स्पार्क’ (सोसाइटी फाॅर प्रमोशन ऑफ आर्ट एंड कल्चर) का वार्षिक कला महोत्सव “शतरंज-15” का शुभ आरंभ हुआ। आज कॉलेज ऑडिटोरियम में “रक्स” का प्रीलिम्स आयोजित हुआ- यह Satrang का डांस कॉम्पिटिशन है।
इस कॉम्पिटिशन में प्रतिभाशाली प्रतिभागियों ने अपनी नृत्य कला का प्रदर्शन किया। प्रतियोगिता चार श्रेणियों में विभक्ति थी-क्लासिकल सोलो, बॉलीवुड सोलो, फोक सोलो और वेस्टर्न सोलो।
निर्णायक मंडल में डॉ. बसुधारा रॉय, प्रो. आकांक्षा रॉय और प्रो. मौसमी सारंगी शामिल थीं। दर्शकों की तालियों और उत्साहवर्धन के बीच, यह कार्यक्रम सचमुच एक शानदार अनुभव रहा। कार्यक्रम में ‘स्पार्क’ के कन्वीनर तथा अंग्रेजी विभाग के अध्यक्ष डॉ यहिया इब्राहीम, प्रो एके दास तथा डॉ साकेत कुमार के अलावा कई शिक्षक तथा बड़ी संख्या में छात्र-छात्राएं मौजूद थे। कार्यक्रम के अंत में डॉ इब्राहीम ने सभी प्रतिभागियों को बधाई दी तथा अपने शब्दों से उनका मनोबल बढ़ाया।

Dance Competition Held Today

The annual arts festival “Satrang-15″—organized by ‘SPArC’ (Society for the Promotion of Art and Culture), the literary and cultural wing of Karim City College, Sakchi, Jamshedpur—commenced today with a grand inauguration. The preliminary rounds of “Raqs”—Satrang’s dance competition—were held today in the college auditorium.
Talented participants showcased their dancing prowess during this competition. The contest was divided into four categories: Classical Solo, Bollywood Solo, Folk Solo, and Western Solo.
The panel of judges comprised Dr. Basudhara Roy, Prof. Akanksha Roy, and Prof. Mousumi Sarangi. Amidst the applause and enthusiastic cheers of the audience, the event proved to be a truly magnificent experience. The program was attended by Dr. Yahia Ibrahim (Convener of ‘SPArC’ and Head of the Department of English), Prof. A.K. Das, and Dr. Saket Kumar, along with numerous other faculty members and a large number of students. At the conclusion of the event, Dr. Ibrahim congratulated all the participants and boosted their morale with his encouraging words.
