Seminar Held at the Department of Economics, Karim City College

The Department of Economics at Karim City College, Sakchi, Jamshedpur, organized a seminar on the topic “The Gulf Crisis and Its Economic Implications for India.”
The seminar was organized as part of an academic program. The seminar was chaired by Dr. Aijaz Ahmed, Head of the Department. The seminar aimed to help students understand how geopolitical developments impact India’s stability, energy, security, trade, and foreign policy.
The seminar’s topic was introduced by the Head of the Department, who highlighted the political and economic significance of the Gulf crisis and its implications for India. The program was moderated by Dr. S.I. Nabi, who coordinated the sessions and facilitated the presentations and discussions. Students shared their views on the potential impact of the Gulf crisis, particularly on inflation, GDP growth, the energy crisis, India’s imports and exports, and economic security. Among the students who presented their research papers were Muskan Kumari, Shayna Nusrat, Subodh Singh Sardar, Baby Mahato, etc. Finally, department professor Dr. Fakhruddin Ahmed concluded the meeting with a vote of thanks.
