PG Math Department Organises Seminar at Karim City College; 21 Students Present Research Papers
JAMSHEDPUR:
The Post Graduate Department of Mathematics at Karim City College successfully organised a departmental seminar, on 01/08/2026, showcasing academic projects and research presentations by third semester postgraduate students.
A total of 21 students delivered presentations based on topics assigned in their respective project papers. The presentations covered various applied and theoretical domains of modern mathematics. Key presentations included:
“Minimum Spanning Tree” presented by Priti Kumari
“Artificial Intelligence Related to Lattice Theory & Boolean Algebra” jointly presented by Akansha Kumari and Ayesha Hoda
Head of the Department, Dr. Md. Moiz Ashraf, commended the students for their thorough research, clarity of concepts, and confident presentation skills, encouraging them to pursue further academic research.
The seminar was attended by esteemed faculty members of the department, including Dr. P. C. Banerjee, Dr. Shahid Ahmad Hashmi, Dr. B. P. Singh, and Professor Yashmin Banu, who provided feedback and encouragement to the presenters.
