• Got Master degrees in Urdu and Persian in the year 1986 and 1987, respectively, from Bihar University, Muzaffarpur.
• Successfully qualified NET in 1991.
• Served at the internationally acclaimed institution, Khuda Baksh Oriental Public Library, Patna for three and a half years.
• Served for eight years as Assistant Director and Deputy Director at ADRI, Patna (State Resource Centre of National Literacy Mission, New Delhi).
• Presently working in Department of Urdu, Karim City College , Jamsheddpur (Jharkhand)
• Local Coordinator of Regional field Unit (Urdu) of National Testing Service, CIIL, Mysore, which is situated at Karim City College, Jamshedpur.

Khuda Bakhsh O P Library, Patna published Persian to Hindi translation of Shamsul Bayan. A number of Translation of Urdu Short Stories in Hindi is being published by reputed Periodicals.
