5. Book Donation - by students and teachers for the needy students.
All students of the college can take its membership. It's free.

Today the Department of Political Science organised a Web Talk e-Samvaad and invited Shri Biltu Hansda , Mukhiya Matku Panchayat to talk on “ Issues and Challenges of working at grassroots- Gram Panchayat in Jharkhand” through Google Meet platform. The program began with the welcome address by the Prof-in- Charge , Dr. Mohammad Reyaz. He congratulated the department and the organising team for inviting Mr. Biltu Hansda for understanding the working of Gram Panchayat. Dr. Anwar Shahab, Head, Dept. Of Political Science introduced the Guest Speaker and briefed about the establishments and growth of Panchayat Raj System in India. The Guest Speaker discussed the structure of Gram Panchayat and the role of Mukhiya / Sarpanch first. The session proved to be very informative as he discussed in great detail the practical problems in dealing with the day to day affair as well as projects of rural development. He specifically discussed the various programs of government including MGNREGA. He also highlighted various challenges that he had faced in the last five years- specially during the pandemic caused by Corona Virus. Vaccination is still a huge challenge, he stressed. Students interaction was very overwhelming in Q and A session.
The program was well attended by many faculty members and students of the college. Sunil Murmu, a student of Pol. Sc (Hons) Semester 6 was the moderator. At the end Dr. Tanweer Jamal Kazmi, Asst. Professor in Political Science proposed the vote of thanks. It was a wonderful occasion to understand rural life and its various problems from a People’s representative. The college has assured institutional help to students seeking admission in higher education.
A web workshop was organised by NSS KCC on 21st June 2021 . It aims to aware students and society the benefits of yoga in this pandemic era.

Following six students of UG-Sem-6 Chemistry (Hons.) have been selected as Graduate Trainee in ESL Steel, a group of Vedanta Ltd. Their online assessment examination was held on 05-06-2021 followed by personal interview held on 12-06-2021.
They have been offered a package of 3.44 Lakh per annum.
